Welcome to ABC's Holiday Celebration!

We welcome all our volunteers and members to ABC's end of year holiday celebration! Let's enjoy some nice food together, do some holiday crafting and reminisce the enriching year that has passed. There will also be a special quizz during the evening and the fire will be lit. Please press "attend" here on this event so we know how many to cook for - cheers! 🙂 DATE: Tuesday 19th of December 6.30 - 10.00 pm. OK to drop in whenever. VENUE: The housing collective "Fiolen", located at Flygelvägen 4, 224 72 Lund (Directions below) FOOD A spicy vegan lentil stew with bread, followed by glögg and pepparkakor will be served. Feel free to contribute by bringing a snack or something sweet as well as the beverage of your choice. Come visit ABC this Saturday at the sustainable Christmas market from 10.30-16.00! We have handicrafts from Nepal and much more! The sales will go to support our projects in Nepal and India and to our local gardening initiatives.

Documentary Movie Night

Christmas is right around the corner and to wrap up the Environmental Committee's Documentary Movie Night we want to watch the Nepalese documentary "Farm to Fork" together with you. Schedule: Food Served at 19.00 Movie Begins: 20.00 We will serve tasty vegan shepherd's pie & delicious vegan apple pie. Cost: 35 sek (PLEASE BRING CASH) You will also have the oppurtunity do donate some money for the project in Nepal.

Have you always wondered what to do with all the cabbage that’s around at this time of the year? Would you fancy some tangy complements to your food, that are not only local and seasonal, but also super healthy? Then this workshop is for you! You will learn all you need to know to get started with making your own fermented cabbage (or other vegetables), aka sauerkraut! -Health benefits -What you need -How to: basics and different flavours -Common errors AND you will get your hands dirty! Together, we will get your first batch of kraut started right away. Included: Sauerkraut ingredients, taste samples, (fika) Bring yourself: 1l fliptop jar (buy at Granit, Lagerhaus, Coop Mårtenstorget) Knife and cutting board Look forward to a crowd-pleasing kraut making workshop! IMPORTANT: press “attend” at this facebook event until Wednesday, so that we know how much cabbage will be needed. We might need a little donation/fee from every participant to cover the costs for the ingredients.
