International Projects

Internationally, ABC Sweden runs projects in collaboration with local organizations in India and Nepal. The projects are generally small-scale and self-sustaining, since ABC believes that real change happens at the grassroot-level. The projects strengthen the cooperating organizations in their efforts to create better living conditions for the people they work with.

Four years ago, ABC concretized one of its most ambitious projects abroad. In partnership with Youth Action Nepal, we established the Yuwalaya – Youth Resource Center in Kathmandu. It provides mentors for studies and careers, psycho-social and health counselling, workshops and outdoor activities to empower and inform the youth, and resources for them to pursue their own initiatives! Zero Waste at School

ABC is partnering up with the Nepalese NGO Clean Up Nepal to provide resources for 12 low-income public schools in Kathmandu to implement an educational programme on sustainable waste management practices. The goal of the project is to help people to manage waste responsibly and let them engage in sustainable practices. Through this, they will be empowered to influence the behaviour of others as well. Engage with Zero Waste at School through the Facebook group.
