Swedish International Development Cooperation and Sustainable Development

Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (SIDA)



When: Thursday 20th of April at 13.15-15.

Where: Lund university, Geocentrum I, Sölvegatan 10, Room Världen



The overall goal of SIDA is to contribute to making it possible for poor 
people to improve their living conditions. By reducing injustices and 
poverty throughout the world, better opportunities are created for 
development, peace and security for all people and nations. Sustainable 
development shall permeate all Sida's activities. Together with cooperation 
partners, Sida works actively for an environmentally sustainable development 
within a wide range of countries and sectors. This seminar will highlight 
changes in attitudes over the years with regard to environmental aspects of 
development, as well as the development of approaches and methods within 
Swedish international development cooperation. Present and future challenges 
and opportunities in relation to sustainable development will be discussed.





Invitation to LUCSUS Pub

After Stefan Edman's Seminar – Monday April 24



This spring's last LUCSUS Seminar will be held on Monday the 24th of April 
at 17.30 pm (*** please note changed schedule ***) with Stefan Edman, 
biologist, author and adviser for the Swedish government on sustainability 
issues. Stefan will give a seminar with the title 'How do we build a more 
sustainable society?'. After this final LUCSUS Seminar, we invite you to 
join us for a small LUCSUS Pub with some wine, beer, non-alcoholic 
alternatives and snacks!
