Abc – aktiva insatser för människa och miljö is committed to respecting your privacy and protecting your personal information. This document describes how we collect and handle your personal data.
What we collect
We collect a minimal amount of information when and not more than is actually needed in order for us to fulfil the organisation’s purpose or to help us do better work:
(1) Contact information (i.e. name, email address, address, phone number, date of birth), when you actively enter this information in our website.
(2) Information about how our website is used (i.e., the abc website uses cookies) when you browse our website.
Why we collect
Associations in Sweden are required by Swedish law to keep a record of members, and to provide certain information about them. We will use the information to keep in contact with our members, friends and partners. This can be done i.e. through email or the abc website.
How we handle your personal information
We treat your personal information with the uttermost respect. Generally, we will use it to keep you up to date with news and information about abc.
Third party affiliations
As a general rule, abc will never sell or otherwise hand over personal data to third party. However, we currently use Google for handling and storing information. The abc website is used to publish and spread news through our website.
We use mailchimp to send out our newsletters and updates to our members and subscribers.

Cookies are files with small amount of data, which may include an anonymous unique identifier. Cookies are sent to your browser from a web site and stored on your computer’s hard drive.
