ABC SwedenABC - Active Contributions for People and the Environment is an independent non-profit volunteer organisation established in Lund since 1998.
ABC has joined forces with the urban fruit initative Fruktsam that aims to facilitate picking public edibles. The project, initiated by two Sustainability Science graduates, is up and running since September 2013 and offers a harvest map, a harvest calendar, recipes as well as invites the public to guided tours, picking events and seminars. Fruktsam’s blog updates and tells stories about anything to do with edibles around the city. This harvest season Fruktsam also hosts a study circle at Studiefrämjandet and is sponsored by Region Skåne’s and Lund municipality’s environmental funds.
