ABC’s local urban gardening and democracy project Ett Grönare Lund welcomes all gardening enthusiasts and other curious to this Autumn’s next GreenTalk-Workshop with theme seeds!

The workshop takes place Wednesday the 22nd of October 5-7 pm at Stenkrossen in Lund through a co-operation with sister project Vi odlar! och Lund University’s environmental organization Hållbart Universitet. Guest speaker is Karin Jansson, editor for The Association for Organic Biological Gardening‘s magazine “Odlaren” (The Gardener) and initiator and teacher at adult education course “Stadsodling i Lund” (Urban Gardening in Lund). ABC’s Election Committee hereby opens the nomination period to candidates for Board and Election Committee positions to be elected at ABC’s Annual Meeting Saturday 29th of November:

• Chairperson (1 year term)
• 3-4 ordinary members (1 or 2 years term)
• 2-3 suppleants (1 or 2 years term)
• 3 members for The Election Committee (1 or 2 years term)

*To nominate someone in your network or yourself, please e-mail info@abcsweden.org and head your e-mail with “Nomination ABC’s Board”. The nomination period is open until 30th of October.  When we have received a nomination that person is called to an interview.

Do you like apples and would like to try something new together with other apple fans? Come to Stadsparken the 5th of October on Apple Day! Fruktsam and Lunds Naturskyddsförening together arrange Apple Day where we make apple mousse, dried apple and apple juice. Bring your own apples or come with Fruktsam on apple picking tour on bicycle in Lund and pick apples on public places. The tour begins by the green house in Stadsparken at 1 pm.
